Welcome to the Héllo Ibom Creator Program!

 

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before enrolling. By applying and participating in the program, you agree to comply with these terms.

 

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to apply.

• You must be a resident or indigene of Akwa Ibom, or frequently visit the state.

• You must have prior experience creating User Generated Content (UGC) for brands or demonstrate the ability to create high-quality video content.

 

2. Content Creation

• Content includes videos (Reels, TikTok & Youtube Shorts) only, featuring Akwa Ibom's attractions, culture, and lifestyle.

• All content created for Héllo Ibom must be original and not infringe on any third-party rights.

• Content must be exclusive to Héllo Ibom and cannot be shared with or sold to other parties.

• Content must include a call to action driving awareness and promoting Héllo Ibom. Every video must end with a shout-out or voiceover: "Follow or contact Héllo Ibom to plan and design your next trip to Akwa Ibom."

• The final content will carry the Héllo Ibom logo or watermark, and will include closing credits with the Héllo Ibom logo and website link.

3. Submission and Approval

• You must share your content with Héllo Ibom via the content bank that will be provided to you once you have been accepted and onboarded as a Héllo Ibom Creator.

• Our team will review the quality and relevance of your content before approval.

• Approved content will be posted on Héllo Ibom’s social media profiles, and you will be credited and tagged (if the team deems it necessary).

• Héllo Ibom will not accept or pay for any content that has already been shared on your social media page. Once you have submitted content to Héllo Ibom, please allow us 1-2 days to review and conduct the necessary checks before approving and using your content. If we approve your content, you may only post it on your social media at the same time or after we post it on our socials, by tagging @helloibom and using the hashtags #HelloIbomCreators, #DiseIbom, and #ExploreAkwaIbom. If we do not approve your content, you are free to use it as you deem fit.

4. Compensation

• Once we approve your video, a member of our team will notify you of your status, as well as the time and day we will be sharing your content on our social profiles.

• You will then be paid up to 10,000 Naira per approved video before it goes live on our social media pages.

• Payment details and schedule will be communicated upon approval of your content.

• Compensation is based on the quality, relevance, creativity, and duration of the content, as well as other factors as determined by Héllo Ibom. View the criterias here.

 

5. Content Rights

• By submitting content to Héllo Ibom, you grant Héllo Ibom exclusive rights to use, edit, and distribute the content across all media platforms.

• You acknowledge that Héllo Ibom can use the content for promotional, marketing, and advertising purposes without additional compensation.

 

6. Frequency of Content Creation​

• We do not currently have contracts with our UGC creators outside these terms and conditions, so there is no specific frequency of content creation required. This means that the frequency at which you create and submit your content is entirely up to you. However, there are limits to how much content we can post daily and weekly based on industry best practices.

• We collaborate with other creators who also submit content daily, and we usually select content on a first-come, first-served basis, assuming the submitted content is of high quality and meets our standards.

 

• As a guideline, our current posting frequency includes 3-5 mixed content pieces daily, comprising text, images, and videos. Out of this, we aim to post 1-2 videos per day and 7-10 videos per week.

• To manage this, we have implemented a slot system that provides updates on the number of available slots for the week, the number of slots filled, and when they have been filled. We will endeavour to provide this update at the beginning of each week.

7. Video Editing

•  You are responsible for editing your videos unless otherwise agreed upon.

• Edited videos should meet the quality standards set by Héllo Ibom.

• If the quality of the edited videos does not meet the standards set by Héllo Ibom, but the raw versions hold the potential for a great video edit. Héllo Ibom may request the raw video and offer a negotiable payment. Héllo Ibom will handle the editing in-house. In such cases, these terms and conditions apply to the raw videos, particularly regarding reproduction and circulation. The creator is prohibited from reselling the video to another brand.

8. Conduct and Representation

• As a Héllo Ibom Creator, you are expected to conduct yourself professionally and respectfully, especially when you are creating content for Héllo Ibom or possess one of our branded merchandise.

• You must accurately represent Héllo Ibom and refrain from any behavior that could harm the reputation of the brand.

9. Termination

• Héllo Ibom reserves the right to terminate your participation in the program at any time for any reason, including but not limited to breaches of these Terms and Conditions.

• You may also terminate your participation at any time by providing written notice to Héllo Ibom.

• Inactivity constitutes termination from your end. If we do not hear from you or receive any new content from you within 3-4 weeks without prior notice, you will be excluded from the program and will have to reapply to participate again.

10. Confidentiality

• You agree to keep any confidential information about Héllo Ibom and its operations private and not disclose it to any third party.

 

11. Amendments

• Héllo Ibom reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. You will be notified of any changes, and continued participation in the program constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
